Family Coach
Welcome to Chapter You Counselling, a safe and supportive space for children, young people and parents.
Growing up can be challenging and sometimes, talking to someone who truly listens can make all the difference.
Every child and young person deserve to be heard and understood. Chapter You offer a compassionate approach that is tailored to the unique needs of your child or young person. Whether it’s through talking therapies, creative therapies or CBT based therapies.

Families are faced with challenges; it can be hard navigating resistance from children of all ages. Family Coaching within a therapeutic framework focuses on developing strategies where all family members feel valued, understood and heard.

Counselling isn't about providing the answers but supporting the child or young person with the goal to empower them whilst building and developing the tools and confidence to understand their emotions, overcome challenges. and thrive in all areas of their life.

Parenting isn’t easy, let’s be honest; it can often feel overwhelming. Whether you’re struggling to connect with your determined three-year-old, navigating screen time challenges, or experiencing aggression from your child, we are here to help. This therapeutic parenting approach focuses on building relationships and fostering connections, even in the face of difficult behaviours. By examining our reactions and interactions as adults, we can enhance family dynamics and support our children’s growth. Our methods are rooted in the principles of NVR and are informed by an understanding of trauma and attachment.
I work integratively, which means that I am able to draw upon a range of counselling theories and parenting coaching skills that have been developed through working within national Charities (Childline & Cruse) alongside working within primary and secondary schools with children and families. My approach is rooted within Person Centred with the ability to draw on therapeutic skills that allow a truly unique approach to support.

It's completely normal to feel apprehensive about therapy and uncertain about what to expect. I am committed to making you feel welcome and at ease throughout the process. Confidentiality is of utmost importance, and I prioritise the beliefs, well-being, and opinions of young people in all that I do.
